Idaho Springs shines in the summer, offering a mix of outdoor adventures and rich history. Here are five top activities to enjoy during your stay at Moose Landing:

Soak in Indiana Hot Springs for a day of relaxation
Soak in Indiana Hot Springs for a day of relaxation

  1. Hike St. Mary's Glacier Just a short drive from the cabin, this 1.5-mile round-trip trail leads to a stunning alpine snowfield. The moderately challenging hike rewards visitors with breathtaking views and a chance to experience snow even in summer. You might even find cliff jumpers out there for the perfect show to watch while you sit and enjoy a picnic (HINT: my favorite way to enjoy this trail!).

  2. Explore the Argo Mill and Tunnel Dive into Colorado's gold rush history with a guided tour of this well-preserved mill. Learn about the mining process and try your hand at gold panning.

  3. Soak in Indian Hot Springs Relax in geothermal waters at this historic spa. The facility offers a variety of soaking options, including a tropical dome pool and private baths.

  4. Whitewater Rafting on Clear Creek Experience the thrill of rafting on Clear Creek. With options for beginners to advanced rafters, it's a must-do summer activity.

  5. Drive the Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway Take a scenic drive up the highest paved road in North America. The route offers panoramic views and access to hiking trails and picnic spots.

Idaho Springs offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making it an ideal summer destination. And the best way to end the day? Soaking in the hot tub on a clear night, with the people you love most under a blanket of stars unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
